Hayley Orrantia is an American performer, actress and songwriter. Her most well-known role can be Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," the comedy television show. She is primarily as a musician. Music is always been her primary obsession. At the age of 12, music became serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. At 13, she began making music. She recorded her debut album at 14 years old. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in USA. She has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English as a child and her whole life was in the United States. She tries to keep it alive by learning to speak Spanish and creating songs in the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she has recorded, is a good example. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere season of The X Factor. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she received four "yeses" (or votes) by the judges at The Seattle audition. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she and three female singers were grouped in the final auditions during "Hollywood Week". They were eventually eliminated at the final show.
